Meet The Solihull Lifesaving Club Team

Solihull has a strong team of instructors specialising in Drowning Prevention, Rescue Techniques and Lifesaving Sport.

 

All of Solihull Lifesaving Clubs instructors have come through the lifesaving scheme and are highly knowledgeable of the RLSS Survive and Save Lifesaving Program. 

Joe Elkin

Joe has been with Solihull for over 10 years progressing through the Heritage and Survive and Save awards.

Joe is heavily involved within the Competitive Lifesaving.

Training, Coaching and Officiating with Solihull and Birmingham.

Joe has competed and represented Solihull at a Club, Branch, Regional and National Level.

Tom has been a part of Solihull for over 10 years and is one of our most experienced and loved trainers.

 

Tom is always looking for new, fun and inventive ways to inspire and teach our younger members the vital Lifesaving skills that they may require.

Tom Galeford

Jacqui is a highly skilled and qualified instructor who is the longest standing member of Solihull Lifesaving Club, and highly regarded within the community. Jacqui runs our additional courses such as NPLQ and NRASTAC.

 

Jacqui's

commitment to the comunity was recognised in 2014 when she was presented with a British Empire Medal.

Jacqui Edinburgh

Tony is the chair of Solihull Lifesaving Club along with being involved with many other sports and clubs in the area.

 

He is a highly skilled and long serving member who is always willing to share his knowledge and expertise with the club
